436,595 publications are hosted on the RRAAE platform.
CEDIA signed an institutional cooperation agreement with La Referencia for two additional years to the Specific Cooperation Agreement between the Secretariat of Higher Education, Science, Technology and Innovation and CEDIA, with the purpose of continuing to support the operational management of the project “Federated Network of Institutional Repositories of Scientific Publications of Latin America and the Caribbean – LA REFERENCIA.” This network aims to share and give visibility to the scientific output generated in higher education and scientific research institutions, resulting in interoperability and information management through actions designed for this purpose, framed within the principles of open access, interoperability, and quality. With this agreement, the Ecuadorian Open Access Repository Network – RRAAE – becomes the country's national node for the international LA REFERENCIA project.
Currently, the RRAAE makes visible the scientific academic production of 65 institutions through its institutional repositories and digital journals, with more than 436,595 publications such as undergraduate theses, master's theses, doctoral theses, articles, and books that are in open access for the institutions.
