The National Scholarship Program of the Slovak Republic is funded by the Ministry of Education, Science, Research and Sport of the Slovak Republic and is designed to encourage academic mobility. It is aimed at international students, doctoral students, university professors, researchers and artists who wish to undertake an academic stay in higher education and research institutions in Slovakia. The target audience of the program includes both master's and PhD students, professors and specialists in various academic and artistic disciplines. This Scholarship was established to support high achieving beginning international students enrolling in an undergraduate program at UTS in Sydney. The scholarship is to be offered to international students who exhibit the University's core values ​​and can demonstrate commitment to excellence, innovation, entrepreneurship and social justice.

In addition to this, beneficiaries will be able to enjoy a six-month grace period once they finish the master's degree and will have five years to repay the credit, which allows other students to take advantage of this same type of support.
