Academic meeting addressed technological services to strengthen university research

Authorities and teachers from the Faculty of Engineering of the University of Cuenca participated in this information session.

Academic research advances when infrastructure, data, and partnerships work in the same direction. CEDIA presented its portfolio of technological services at the University of Cuenca, designed to enhance research, innovation, and academic development.

The event, coordinated between CEDIA 's Product and Service Development Department and the Department of Computer Science, brought together approximately 20 faculty members and administrators from the School of Engineering. During the meeting, strategic tools, collaboration opportunities, and funding options were presented, with an emphasis on platforms such as REDI and ResearchLab, designed to optimize the management of scientific projects and the handling of research data.

Beyond the presentation of services, the meeting opened a space for dialogue to identify specific needs of the academic community. This assessment will allow for the exploration of new joint initiatives, the evaluation of pilot projects for technological platforms, and the development of cooperation strategies aligned with the challenges of current research.
