Access and Geostatistical Inference of Meteorological Parameters in Graphic mode from Automatic Meteorological Stations for the Provinces of Azuay and Chimborazo

General Objective: Develop a geoportal that allows Access and Geostatistical Inference of Meteorological Parameters in Graphic mode from Automatic Meteorological Stations for the provinces of Azuay and Chimborazo.

Specific objectives:

  • Design and create a geoportal, which will present information on meteorological parameters of the provinces of Azuay and Chimborazo. The measurable and verifiable indicator for this objective is the geoportal prototype that will be available for uploading to the web.
  • Implement an interpolation method to obtain meteorological data in places that do not exist from data from adjacent stations. The measurable and verifiable indicator for this objective is obtaining the meteorological data through the latitude and longitude given by the user.
  • Implement the geoportal at the web level for the Access and Geostatistical Inference of Meteorological Parameters in Graphic mode from Automatic Meteorological Stations for the Provinces of Azuay and Chimborazo. The measurable and verifiable indicator for this objective is the geoportal that will be available on the WEB at World Wide disposal.
  • Generate different GIS files of the project carried out by the user according to their needs. The measurable and verifiable indicator for this goal is the download of user-created project files.
  • Disseminate Research in National and International Congresses, with at least one publication in Indexed journals. The measurable and verifiable indicator for this objective is the Publication.
