General Objective: Exploit the forms of knowledge that exist in the contents published by Ecuadorian universities in their repositories so that they can be presented:
- Graphically maps of Ecuador of specific areas of science and technology.
- In translated formats that other non-Spanish-speaking users can access.
- In a large documentary database where you can find the different forms of knowledge in Ecuador.
- In a journal 0 summary of the contents of the metadata found in the contents of the repositories by time intervals.
Specific objectives:
- Train the project universities in the use of the OAl protocol for institutional repository references.
- Build a centralized directory of publications from the different universities of Ecuador.
- Build a tool that allows generating a label map for different categories that could be area of knowledge, university, year of publication.
- Have an application that is capable of generating the contents of the repositories in different languages
