The Digital Competencies Diagnosis service is designed to evaluate and enhance the digital skills of teachers and academic staff at member institutions. This diagnosis focuses on the five essential competencies of the Pentagon's Digital Competencies Framework: technological, pedagogical, communicative, management and investigative.
How does it work?
The diagnosis classifies educators into three levels of maturity: explorer, integrator and innovator, based on their mastery of the five digital competencies:
- Explorer: Initial familiarization with ICT.
- Integrative: Autonomous development of ICT capabilities, integration of these into educational processes and understanding of their social implications.
- Innovative: Creative and adaptive use of ICT, implementation of new innovative ideas and collaboration with other teachers to improve educational practices.
