Frequently Asked Questions

The Divulga fund finances the presentation of research results at high-impact scientific events worldwide. The application categories are:

  • Conferences for the presentation of scientific articles
  • Invention fairs for patent presentations

Applicants must be teachers, researchers, or students from one of CEDIA's member institutions, who are also listed as authors or co-authors of the scientific article to be submitted, or failing that, as the inventor of the patent

The participant must submit their application form in PDF format and other documentation referred to in the terms of the call, on the EasyChair .

According to the application form, the fund allows financing of the following items:

  • Registration for the event
  • Mobilization
  • Accommodation: up to USD 100 per day
  • Food: up to USD 45 per day
  • Communication and advertising: fixed item of USD 500
  • Return Plan: fixed amount of USD 400

Funding must be requested for only one author/co-author/inventor per proposal.

No, only conference applications that include full papers will be funded. Articles accepted based solely on abstract review will not be funded.

Patents must be published and include a complete descriptive report. Utility models and industrial designs will not be funded. Patents that have only been filed but do not yet have a publication date, and/or that do not include the corresponding technical report, will not be accepted.

The proposal must be submitted at least 60 days before the date of the event and/or congress.
