Open Innovation Club
The open innovation club is an initiative that encourages collaboration between university students and companies to solve real business challenges through open innovation methodologies.
This space allows students to develop practical skills, create innovative solutions and strengthen their professional networks, contributing to their personal growth and industry progress.
Our purpose:
We create an ecosystem in which students and companies can collaborate in the resolution of business problems through an open innovation methodology. The club encourages learning and the practical application of knowledge in an environment that values creativity, innovation and entrepreneurial spirit.

How does this collaboration work?
In the open innovation club we coordinate the interaction between young talent, academia and the business sector, generating impact and transformation. Where each element is an active part of these results.
The students
Access is granted to university students who have overcome the initial psychometric test and demonstrate aptitude and attitude to participate in club projects and activities. Club members must commit to actively participate in future sessions and activities, contributing ideas and solutions to the challenges raised by the company.
The universities
Universities will collaborate with CEDIA in the dissemination of the open innovation club and its activities among the student community, facilitating the recruitment of students interested in innovation and entrepreneurship.
Companies
We coordinate with the participating companies to raise relevant challenges that the students of the open innovation club can resolve. The solutions generated will be subject to the intellectual property agreements established with each company, guaranteeing the rights of the participants and the confidentiality of the results.
Throughout this process we will contribute with the evaluation of project progress and provide continuous feedback to students and companies, ensuring that the development of innovative solutions is carried out effectively.

Recruitment is done through mobile touch screens installed in member universities, where students can complete a psychometric test and take the first step towards new opportunities.
In 2024, this process was carried out at the Universities of Cuenca. In 2025, we will expand the implementation to institutions throughout the country, even more bringing this opportunity to students from various cities.
