VOC – Vulnerability Operations Center

(VOCVulnerability Operations Center) CEDIA continuously monitors the publicly exposed systems, networks, and technological assets of its member institutions. Through a specialized vulnerability analysis and management service, it promptly identifies security weaknesses, prioritizes risks, and supports the implementation of actions to strengthen institutional protection.

The goal of this service is to reduce the attack surface and strengthen the security of systems exposed to the internet.

How does it work?

The VOC conducts periodic security assessments of technology assets, identifying:

  • known vulnerabilities
  • insecure configurations
  • services exposed
  • weaknesses in applications or infrastructure.

The findings are analyzed by cybersecurity specialists, who classify the vulnerabilities according to their level of risk and provide remediation recommendations.

Benefits:

  • Continuous monitoring: 24/7 permanent supervision of security events.
  • Proactive vulnerability identification: Early detection of security weaknesses.
  • Reduction of attack surface: Decrease in the risk associated with exposed systems.
  • Risk prioritization: Classification of vulnerabilities according to criticality.
  • Technical recommendations: Guide for correcting identified vulnerabilities.
  • Continuous monitoring: Periodic assessments to improve safety posture.
