Continuing Education School - EFC of CEDIA trains teachers, technicians and the general public through free Webinars

As part of our management and support for society during the global health crisis, CEDIA through its Academic area, carried out several webinar-type trainings on different topics, the same ones that aim to train teachers, technicians, students from our member institutions and the general public.

Our Continuing Education School - EFC, applying new teaching and learning modalities, put into practice the live transmission of Webinars through our social networks @ CEDIA EC on our Facebook page and YouTube channel, generating a total of 25 FREE webinars until the end of April.

The virtual events reached a total of 5,281 participants in the different topics presented by the School, which aim to promote virtual education in the country.

Within the training for CEDIA Member Institutions, 11 bibliographic services workshops were held in which 1,590 participants were benefited, including researchers, teachers and administrative staff, not to mention 22 online courses with a total participation of 586 trained people.

As part of the collaborative activities with our database providers, the dissemination of training on the use and application of their bibliographic services to our members was requested, events in which a total of 1,684 people have been trained in bibliographic platforms of academic interest.

As a management indicator, it can be mentioned that by the end of April the CEDIA Academy area had trained a total of 9,141 people.
