The Intellectual Property and Privacy area of CEDIA gave several talks to the member HEIs

The Corporation offers training on demand from each university to strengthen their capabilities.

As part of the activities of the Intellectual Property and Privacy Area, CEDIA developed informative talks, advanced training and training sessions at five member universities this month.

The objective of these spaces was to socialize the importance of compliance with the Organic Law on Protection of Personal Data, and to strengthen knowledge about intellectual property.

During these meetings, CEDIA experts highlighted the importance of implementing legal, technical and organizational measures to comply with regulatory requirements and guarantee the exercise of the right to protection of personal data.

The member HEIs that were trained were:

  • The Pontifical Catholic University of Ecuador, Ambato Headquarters.
  • Private Technical University of Loja.
  • The Central University of Ecuador.
  • ESPE Armed Forces University.
  • Nacional University of Loja.
