Within the framework of the commitment to the Digital Transformation of Health within the Open Government program, representatives of the CEDIA team held a key meeting with Dr. Franklin Encalada, Minister of Public Health of Ecuador.
The meeting allowed for detailed monitoring of the progress achieved to date, as well as defining specific strategies and actions in line with the Development Plan of New Ecuador and the Territorial Strategy 2024-2025.
In this sense, the Ministry of Public Health has established digital transformation in the field of health as a central priority, focusing its efforts on the implementation of technological solutions that improve health care and resource management.
For their part, both CEDIA and Fundapi, civil society entities committed to the development of the country, assume a fundamental role as co-responsible in the achievement and execution of the objectives established in terms of digital health. This collaboration between the public sector and civil society is essential to guarantee the success of initiatives aimed at modernizing and optimizing the Ecuadorian health system.
