We recognize the efforts of the Ecuadorian academy
On November 24th, the ninth edition of the CEDIA Awards took place in the city of Guayaquil. This event annually brings together Rectors, Researchers, and Teachers from Higher Education Institutions nationwide to recognize their work in promoting a scientific and development culture in Ecuador.
This edition was honored by the presence of more than eleven university rectors nationwide, twenty-eight Technology Directors, as well as several representatives from government entities such as the Council of Higher Education – CES, the Secretariat of Higher Education, Science, Technology and Innovation – SENESCYT and other allied institutions.
The Ecuadorian Corporation for the Development of Research and Academia - CEDIA , as every year, celebrates the commitment of higher education institutions to promote science, technology, development and innovation at the national level.
The CEDIA Awards have become the most important award in science, technology and innovation, an event in which the management, effort and dedication of Universities, Institutes, Colleges, Teachers, Researchers and Technicians at the national level are recognized for generating and promoting a culture of scientific, academic and technological development in Ecuador.
For CEDIA, this event becomes a way to showcase and thank our member institutions, technicians and teachers for their constant support in promoting innovation, science and technology in Ecuador.
