Since technology is our backbone and the origin of our Corporation, we recognize the efforts of the institutions that promote its use and advancement in the country every day. Our nominees have highlighted the use of CEDIA 's technological services to strengthen their institutions and foster the growth of their members.
Outstanding institution in the use of research services
A few years ago, having internationally recognized researchers was a utopia. As an organization, it is part of our mission and main objectives to create spaces that support research professors in their work through competitive funding opportunities, mentorships, and other benefits so that research results can be presented internationally. In this category, we award the institution that has best utilized the benefits provided by CEDIA for research, achieving nationally and internationally recognized results.

Providing academic training to teachers and students is part of our core mission, contributing to institutions with topics of international interest focused on the development of the science, technology and innovation environment, with the goal of training students, teachers, technicians and researchers according to the highest requirements and standards of the labor and professional market in Ecuador and the world.

For CEDIA creating a link between academia and the national productive sector based on innovation, technology and knowledge transfer has been one of our biggest current challenges, which we share with our institutions to generate a culture of innovation, with the sole objective that applied research generates a benefit to society.

Area with the Greatest Projection
We congratulate CEDIA's CSIRT, the Security Incident Response Team, comprised of Ernesto and Paúl. This team has successfully met significant challenges, such as protecting critical data from CEDIA 's member institutions against the widespread cyberattacks of recent months. Not to mention the considerable recognition this has generated for CEDIA both nationally and internationally.
