This work is carried out at the beginning of the Second Evaluation Process for Entrance to Technological Institutes and Public Higher Conservatories 2024.
As part of a tripartite agreement between CEDIA , the Technical University of Cotopaxi and the Secretariat of Higher Education, Science, Technology and Innovation – Senescyt; CEDIA provided high-performance Cloud Computing Infrastructure for the Senecyt Evaluations Process. This infrastructure was key to the successful deployment and operation of the platform www.registrounicoedusup.gob.ec, a strategic portal that is owned by the Technical University of Cotopaxi (UTC).
This portal was used by Senescyt in its second Entrance Evaluation process to Technological Institutes and Public Higher Conservatories corresponding to the year 2024. The implementation of this solution in the cloud not only guaranteed the availability and scalability necessary to handle user traffic, but also reinforced collaboration between institutions, ensuring the transparency and effectiveness of the evaluation process.
Together, this inter-institutional effort highlighted the importance of technology in higher education, facilitating access to educational opportunities for thousands of applicants throughout the country.
