With an afternoon of presentations and coffee we celebrate our librarians.
In homage to the Day of the Librarian in Ecuador, CEDIA recognized the librarians of the member institutions of our Corporation. The library units of the universities are in charge of providing access services to academic-scientific information for the university community; spaces where the approach of the users to the books is promoted, motivating the good habit of reading.
This virtual event was held on Monday, February 22 at 3:00 p.m., with the participation of the speakers, Lcda. Patricia Testa, Mendoza, Argentina and Lcda. Cristina Mantilla, Ambato, Ecuador who taught topics of interest such as " Information baristas: librarians" and "Awareness raising from libraries for people with disabilities" . More than 120 people nationwide attended this virtual meeting.
