Research and Education Networks in Latin America will benefit from this initiative
The CSIRT of CEDIA through its management of several years of integration and collaboration with the different peer organizations in the region, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) which has the purpose of creating the Cybersecurity Group of Research and Education Networks of Latin America, among the organizations are the executive leaders of CEDIA (Ecuador), CUDI (Mexico), REUNA (Chile), RNP (Brazil) and RedCLARA (Latin America), said document was signed within the framework of the TICAL 2021 Conference, the past September 2.
The signed MoU seeks to "facilitate the implementation of specific activities, with the aim of establishing the minimum requirements for the identification, establishment, coordination, development and implementation of the Cybersecurity Group, through collaboration between the member networks of RedCLARA, from the parties, in the area of Information Security and Cybersecurity".
