CYBER SECURITY

Among the various programs that CEDIA and its Research area have are Working Groups, which is an initiative made up of researchers and technicians who belong to at least four CEDIA member institutions, and/or external public and private institutions. , who develop activities in a specific area of knowledge, in order to achieve the sustainability of their projects through products or services for the benefit of CEDIA members and the community in general.

Among the current working groups, we can mention the Data Analytics Applied to Cybersecurity (GT Cybersecurity) which will begin its third year of execution in February 2021.

The Cybersecurity GT was formed in 2018 and has the participation of researchers from the National Polytechnic School, the Central University of Ecuador, the University of Cuenca, the University of the Armed Forces - ESPE and the National University of Chimborazo.

After the review carried out by the Academic and Research Commissions and the Technical Commission on the sustainability plan proposed by the group and its progress, it is ready to start the third and last year of work with financing from CEDIA , and in the years later continue their work in a self-sustaining manner.

We wish the best of success to the researchers of this project!
