This work is being carried out at the beginning of the Second Evaluation Process for Admission to Public Technological Institutes and Higher Conservatories 2024.
As part of a tripartite agreement between CEDIA, the Technical University of Cotopaxi, and the Secretariat of Higher Education, Science, Technology and Innovation (Senescyt), CEDIA provided high-performance cloud computing infrastructure for Senescyt's evaluation process. This infrastructure was key to the successful deployment and operation of the platform www.registrounicoedusup.gob.ec, a strategic portal owned by the Technical University of Cotopaxi (UTC).
This portal was used by Senescyt in its second process of Evaluation of Admission to Technological Institutes and Public Higher Conservatories corresponding to the year 2024. The implementation of this cloud solution not only guaranteed the availability and scalability necessary to handle user traffic, but also reinforced the collaboration between the institutions, ensuring the transparency and effectiveness of the evaluation process.
Taken together, this inter-institutional effort highlighted the importance of technology in higher education, facilitating access to educational opportunities for thousands of applicants across the country.
