More than 800 educators registered for this knowledge exchange forum.

On April 10th, the First Virtual Meeting of Educators took place, an initiative promoted by CEDIA. This event, which featured renowned speakers from both national and international backgrounds, was conceived as a gathering dedicated to recognizing the academic work of Ecuadorian higher education professors.

More than 800 educators registered for this space for the exchange of knowledge, experiences and best practices in the field of educational innovation and the integration of technology in higher education.

The main objective of the meeting was to foster collaboration and learning among educators, providing them with tools and perspectives to address the challenges of education in the modern era. This included promoting the adoption of new pedagogical strategies and exploring the impact of artificial intelligence and other emerging technologies on the teaching and learning process.

Among the various topics addressed at the meeting, three stood out in particular:

  1. Education in the Age of Artificial Intelligence: In an increasingly digital world, the implications of artificial intelligence in the classroom were explored, from the personalization of learning to the development of innovative educational tools.
  2. Strategies and Challenges in Hybrid Environments: With the pandemic transforming education, the most effective strategies for teaching in hybrid modalities were discussed, combining face-to-face with virtual learning effectively.
  3. Educational Innovation - Education 4.0: The concept of Education 4.0 was analyzed, and how educational institutions can adapt to prepare students for a constantly evolving world of work.

The success of this virtual meeting highlights the importance of collaborative spaces and continuous learning in the field of education. By providing a platform for the exchange of ideas and experiences, CEDIA reaffirms its commitment to the ongoing improvement of educational quality in Ecuador.
