An alternative development model, which will start in February 2022
As part of the SFF - CIRCULAR ECONOMY "Promotion of Circular Economy in Ecuador: Fundamentals for the promotion of an alternative development model", CEDIA in conjunction with GIZ and the Ministry of Production, Foreign Trade, Investment and Fisheries through the execution of innovation challenges aims to support the innovation ecosystem to adopt the circular economy and facilitate the implementation of circular strategies.
The initiative will start in February 2022 and consists of the following subcomponents:
1: Social Innovation Challenge Municipalities Subcomponent
2: Open Innovation Challenge Private Companies Subcomponent
3: Circular Innovation Program Subcomponent
4: National Awards in Circular Economy
The call aims to promote projects that contribute to the sustainable development of the country through initiatives framed in the circular economy within Decentralized Autonomous Governments (GADs), private companies, startups, through the development of circular innovation challenges and programs in which summons teams of students, university teachers, entrepreneurs, and in general. CEDIA will generate training processes with the participants. Accompaniment will be provided with the objective of preparing and strengthening the projects. Applications will be made through the EasyChair platform.
