Open Innovation Club

The Open Innovation Club, an initiative of CEDIA , was born with the objective of creating a collaborative ecosystem where students and companies work together to solve business problems through an open innovation methodology. This initiative seeks to provide university students with the opportunity to apply their knowledge in real projects.

The Club is designed to facilitate the exchange of ideas, promote practical learning and stimulate the creation of innovative solutions in a guided and cooperative environment.

Students who join will be able to enjoy a series of advantages:

  • Opportunity to receive financial incentives for successfully solving the business challenges posed, recognizing your contributions and innovative ideas.
  • Participation in exclusive CEDIA events, with access to industry leaders and experts.
  • Access to workshops and talks specialized in innovation and entrepreneurship, where they can develop practical skills.
  • Connection with professionals and entrepreneurs from various sectors, creating contact networks that can open job opportunities in the future.
  • Certificates of participation that validate your attendance at key events and your active participation in the club, which reinforces your academic and professional profile.
  • Possibility of being considered for future CEDIA opportunities or programs
  • Access to specific resources and tools provided by CEDIA for the development of innovation projects.

Interested students must take the Open Innovation Club Test. To do this, a monitor will be placed in strategic spaces at the University of Cuenca; Salesian Polytechnic University – Cuenca headquarters; Catholic University of Cuenca and the University of Azuay. The schedules and places of visit will be disseminated through CEDIA 's social networks.

CEDIA calls on all students interested in being part of this initiative that seeks to revolutionize the way in which academia and industry collaborate in Ecuador.
