In this first stage, the channel has reached 12 universities, collaborated with 31 researchers and 89 students.
CEDIA presented Utrend, a scientific dissemination platform that seeks to transform the way research is shared and understood in Ecuador. With a dynamic and accessible approach, Utrend positions itself as the reference channel to connect society with the scientific advances that are changing lives.
The official presentation of the project took place on December 18, at an event that brought together researchers, academic representatives, collaborators and members of CEDIA . The platform combines communication strategies, audiovisual production and creative design to disseminate the results of projects funded by CEDIA . This comprehensive approach ensures that scientific knowledge is not only visible, but also understandable to a broad audience.
In this first stage, Utrend has reached 12 universities, collaborated with 31 researchers and 89 students. These figures demonstrate the immediate impact of the platform, which promises to become a bridge between science and citizens, while promoting the recognition of Ecuadorian talent in the academic and technological field.
The platform offers a website with multimedia materials, including videos, podcasts, infographics and texts, designed to capture the attention of both specialists and the general public. Additionally, the launch event featured interactive installations that illustrated how Utrend transforms complex data into accessible and visually engaging narratives.
The project also reaffirms the importance of collaboration: universities, students and researchers have joined the effort to communicate science in a creative and effective way.
