The 1 to 1 Fund program becomes a success story for innovation in Ecuador.
CEDIA as part of its initiative to be a link between Academia and Industry, has developed several spaces and programs that allow interaction between these two actors in the innovation ecosystem. Among the programs focused on generating this link is the 1 to 1 Fund, which was launched last September 2020.
Both Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) in the country and companies in the productive sector were invited to participate. This call aims to fund a project with transfer potential, developed by the HEIs that are members of CEDIA, in an equitable manner between these two parties.
The second open call for proposals is planned for the coming months to support more R&D&I projects between Academia and Business.
