CEDIA received recognition for its good practices in Sustainable Development

The award recognizes the contribution to achieving a healthy life for all.

CEDIA was recognized by the United Nations Global Compact – Ecuador Network with an award for its outstanding practice in Sustainable Development Goal – SDG 3/ Good Health and Well-being. This was for implementing the ECHO project in the country.

ECHO is a tele-tutoring program designed to create communities of professionals, experts, and specialists in various health-related fields through regular, real-time collaborative sessions. Launched by CEDIA in 2016, the program has since conducted over 320 teleclinic sessions with 4,450 participants. Furthermore, partnerships have been established with leading national and international institutions.

The recognition came after an evaluation by an International Committee of Experts, comprised of 25 leading sustainability professionals in Latin America. CEDIA was awarded for its innovation, collaboration, management, and impact.

Furthermore, the Global Compact highlighted CEDIA 's commitment and efforts that enrich the achievement of the 2030 Agenda.
