CEDIA received recognition for its good Sustainable Development practices

The recognition rewards the contribution to achieve a healthy life for all.

CEDIA was recognized by the United Nations Global Compact - Ecuador Network with an award for the outstanding practice of the Sustainable Development Goal - SDG 3 / Well-being and health. This is for implementing the ECHO project in the country.

ECHO is a tele-tutoring program designed to create communities of professionals, experts and specialists in different health subject areas, through regular collaborative sessions in real time. This program was launched by CEDIA in 2016. Since then, more than 320 tele-clinic sessions have been held with the participation of 4,450 attendees. In addition, alliances were established with important national and international institutions.

The recognition was given after an evaluation by an International Committee of Experts, made up of 25 leading sustainability professionals in Latin America. CEDIA was awarded for its innovation, collaboration, management and impact.

Likewise, the Global Compact highlighted the commitment and efforts of CEDIA that enrich the achievement of the 2030 Agenda.
