Falling Walls Lab Ecuador

The Falling Walls Lab Ecuador 2025 has opened its call for applications to identify the most creative and disruptive minds in Latin America. The competition, part of the prestigious international Falling Walls contest, seeks innovative solutions with social, scientific, or technological impact.

Organized by DAAD Colombia and the San Francisco de Quito University, with the support of CEDIA, this regional edition invites students, researchers, entrepreneurs and creative professionals from Colombia, Ecuador, Peru and Venezuela to present their proposals in an agile and challenging format: three minutes to explain how they are "breaking down walls".

The initiative is funded by the German Foreign Ministry and aims to select the representative of the Andean region who will compete in the grand international final in Berlin, alongside emerging talents from around the world.

The Falling Walls Lab has established itself as a global platform to showcase projects that cross boundaries between disciplines and aim to solve the most urgent problems of our time, from climate change to social inclusion and digital transformation.

With its participation, the Corporation reaffirms its commitment to the international projection of regional talent and the building of bridges so that ideas born in Latin America can have a global reach.
