We continue to provide support to international academic networks.
CEDIA 's CSIRT reports that it has maintained contact and worked for several months to establish joint actions for the benefit of the region with the Mozambique National Research and Education Network – MoRENet; among the short-term actions is the signing of a framework agreement for inter-institutional cooperation between its security incident response group and CEDIA's CSIRT.
The agreement follows the same lines as those signed last year with REUNA and CUDI, from Chile and Mexico respectively, and other agreements currently being processed. The aim is to strengthen inter-institutional collaboration in the area of cybersecurity. One of the first objectives is to deploy our Yari security alert management and delivery system as a tool for MoRENet.
CEDIA and its CSIRT are grateful to be able to move forward in establishing this network of trust, which now includes security groups from countries beyond the continent.
