General Objective: Develop a prototype of a botanical pesticide from J. curcas and P. alliacea, validating it in corn cultivation.
Specific objectives:
- Extract botanical formulations by steam drag from P. alliacea and by mechanical pressure from J. curcas.
- Characterize by chromatography the toxic compounds present in J. curcas and P. alliacea.
- Determine the combination, dose and effectiveness of botanical formulations in the control of the main corn pests.
