General Objective: Implement a digital newscast for the CEDIA network, using the channel of the Ecuadorian advanced network, which will make it possible to provide a digital and automatic alternative for the communication and dissemination of news relating to the world, the country, the region, the universities; facilitating access to information on research projects that are being developed in the universities attached to the project.
Specific objectives:
- Investigate and analyze the scientific foundations necessary for the infrastructure to be implemented.
- Design the application required for operation in all universities both internally and for the connection between the participating institutions.
- Implement a computer tool that allows universities to manage their own news information.
- Facilitate the use of the advanced network channel to disseminate information regarding research projects carried out, proposed or under study by universities.
- Exchange of information about congresses, seminars, educational sessions held by universities.
- Allow the broadcast of videoconferences live or deferred, through the devices enabled to view the newscast.
