Students from the University of Guayaquil and Yachay Tech were selected to participate
A couple of months ago, the ASSOCIATION OF UNIVERSITIES FOR RESEARCH IN ASTRONOMY (AURA) launched its annual call for students from Latin America to be part of the intensive program of interdisciplinary classes oriented to the study of tools applied to the management of large astronomical data, called "LA SERENA SCHOOL FOR DATA SCIENCE" as part of this call, CEDIA made the invitation to its member institutions, as a result of this activity, AURA selected two students from the University of Guayaquil and YACHAY TECH.
We extend our most sincere congratulations to Dayana Mishel Zhigue and Juan Carlos Cedeño, students of Yachay Tech and the University of Guayaquil respectively, who will be part of this international project, with representation from countries such as Chile, the United States and Ecuador.
