25Gbps connectivity between the Central campus and the Balsay campus
The University of Cuenca achieved an important milestone in the continuous improvement of its infrastructure by activating the fiber optic ring between the Central campus and the Balsay campus. This project, linked to the backup route implemented in conjunction with CEDIA , has 25Gbps connections and guarantees the availability of services to administrative, teaching, and student staff.
We congratulate the University of Cuenca for this achievement, since the ring provides valuable capacity that will supply the connectivity requirements of the new Balsay campus for years to access internal resources, the Advanced Network, and the Internet.
