As part of the ESTALMAT project (Estimulo al TALento MÁTemático) CEDIA , with the support of the Royal Academy of Exact, Physical and Natural Sciences, has been carrying out since 2019 to continuously detect, guide and stimulate the exceptional mathematical talent of high school students. 12-13 years. The selection process of participants for the Guayas headquarters, which was opened this year, was carried out.
We wish the best successes to the selected students, knowing that participation in the project can be decisive in the lives of students to strengthen and reinforce their orientation towards mathematical research in different fields, being able to contribute substantially to the scientific and technological progress of the country. .
As a fact of interest we can mention that 92 participants registered for the ESTALMAT Guayas Call, of which 20 were selected, the program has been running for three years, and is currently the first edition carried out in the province of Guayas.
