

Invitation to the first open session of the LA Referencia – Lyrasis project, a regional initiative to strengthen the open access repository ecosystem. This open and collaborative space will share progress, strategies, and lessons learned to strengthen the use of DSpace as a repository platform in Latin America.
The project objectives, the diagnostic form for selecting pilot repositories, and key strategies for the adoption and updating of DSpace (versions 7 and 8) in Latin American institutions will be presented.
