How to register?
Registration is open to students from 4th grade through 3rd year of high school. Schools usually register their students, but independent registration is also possible.

Cost of participation

  • Educational institution: $20
  • For each enrolled student: $10

All students in Ecuador can participate, either through their school or independently.

Categories and levels

Children's Category

  • First level: 4th and 5th grade (Sierra) / 5th and 6th grade (Costa).
  • Second level: 6th and 7th grade (Sierra) / 7th and 8th grade (Costa).

Youth Category

  • First level: 8th and 9th grade (Sierra) / 9th and 10th grade (Costa).
  • Second level: 10th grade and 1st year of high school (Sierra) / 1st and 2nd year of high school (Costa).
  • Third level: 2nd and 3rd year of high school (Sierra) / 3rd year of high school (Costa).

Each institution can enroll up to 12 students per level.

What is the competition like?

Format: competition Individual in which each student solves mathematical problems independently.
Objective: To foster logical reasoning, creativity, and mathematical skills.
