IKIAM Regional University completes process for application for registration of first patent
As part of the Ecuadorian Corporation for the Development of Research and Academia – CEDIA drive to improve innovation indicators, in 2020 the first call for proposals for Fondo Registra was launched. This program seeks to support the Knowledge Management processes of CEDIAmember organizations, in order to increase the registration of intellectual property protection for the results of science, technology and innovation, which are intended to be transferred to the market and society.
Following the launch of the call for proposals, in conjunction with the IKIAM Regional University, the process of drafting and registering the first patent application under this fund has been successfully completed.
