General Objective: Determine the germination ecology of native species of Páramo focused on propagation and in situ management for restoration.
Specific objectives
- Describe the basic aspects of seed ecology of the eight selected species; including germination potential, presence and types of dormancy, quality standards.
- Establish the propagation protocols for each species that include pre-germination treatments.
- Evaluate the emergence, survival and growth of seedlings after direct seeding in a condition gradient
