General Objective: Develop a virtual web training system, through user access to three-dimensional models of the human body housed in a cluster, the interaction between the operator and the system will be carried out through virtual navigation tools (helmet and glove) Implement the Virtual Hydrology Laboratory (HydroVLab) as a didactic tool for undergraduate and postgraduate training.
Specific objectives:
- Install, configure and manage the HydroVLab Web portal on a dedicated server, which allows improving the performance and response times of the implemented tools.
- Develop data analysis tools.
- Develop simulation tools for hydrological processes.
- Develop design tools applicable to the fields of hydraulics and fluvial engineering.
- Train the project stakeholders in the simulation philosophy and in the use of the HydroVLab.
- Carry out the respective tests of each tool created to ensure correct operation and certify its use.
- Validate the HydroVLab and its tools: both from the methodological point of view, as well as its computational performance under different degrees of demand.
- Disseminate the existence of the first Spanish-speaking hydrology virtual laboratory, through participation in congresses and scientific articles, so that it is a tool for common use by the scientific and academic community
