CEDIA together with the Cuenca Chamber of Commerce developed the Summit of Ideas , a space to transform companies with Academic Innovation.
The event brought together researchers from CEDIA member universities and collaborators from member companies of the Cuenca Chamber of Commerce. The event sought to generate a link between academia and business, focusing all its efforts on promoting collaboration between the two types of institutions.
Summit of Ideas took place on November 11, with the presentation of Fernando Chica, a guest with experience in both sectors: he worked as a university researcher and as a collaborator in a banking entity. This background allowed him to explain how Artificial Intelligence can improve productivity, addressing the topic from both an academic and business approach.
For his part, Carlos Guzmán, CEDIA 's Director of Technologies, shared the risks and challenges of cybersecurity and how institutions can collaborate to stay updated and face any event.
Likewise, experts from IDEMAX, an innovation consulting firm from Chile, participated.
