With the aim of promoting a culture of compliance and ensuring information security, a symbolic certificate ceremony was held for the teaching and administrative staff of the IKIAM Amazonian Regional University. The event, which took place on June 5th at the institution's campus, recognized the participants who successfully completed the training program in Personal Data Protection and Regulatory Compliance, an initiative of strategic cooperation between CEDIA and IKIAM.
The formal meeting was attended by the Rector of IKIAM, Dr. María Victoria Reyes, who presided over the event as the highest institutional authority, along with leaders from the university's various academic and administrative areas. During the event, it was emphasized that these collaborative efforts not only validate the staff's technical work but also strengthen essential methodological tools for the proper governance of information and the safeguarding of the institution's digital assets.
Through these high-level training processes, the Corporation continues to equip the country's universities with the necessary skills to effectively align themselves with the current legal framework, ensuring a safe, reliable academic environment prepared for the challenges of data protection on a global scale.
