The official launch of the One to One Fund took place; this funding call promotes the scientific and technological development of a specific problem identified in a company or institution.
For every dollar that a private or public company is willing to invest, CEDIA will contribute the same amount. The goal is to create a research fund to address a need or problem faced by the participating company.

The Registra Fund is another of the initiatives launched during Intellectual Property Week. This initiative seeks to enhance and recognize the Knowledge Management capabilities of its member organizations and promote a culture of intellectual property registration with a view to the efficient transfer of research results.
