CEDIA 's CSIRT is part of the deployment of an IoT honeypot in Latin America and the Caribbean.
The IoT Honeypot Deployment project in Latin America and the Caribbean subsidized by LACNIC's FRIDA Program, which the CEDIA CSIRT has been developing since the end of 2020 in conjunction with The Shadowserver Foundation, has been positively received and is generating a large amount of valuable data.
The actors involved in the project, sensor donors, are kept informed about the progress so that they can carry out analysis, statistics and other applications.
Location of sensors: Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Curaçao, Ecuador, Guatemala, Mexico, Mozambique, Panama, Peru and Uruguay. We will continue working hard to integrate more countries into the project.
