The open-access portal, called RETEC (Technological Resources Network), was created to showcase the technological services and products developed by Higher Education Institutions (HEIs), as well as the demand for these services from the public and private sectors in the country. This portal was developed by CEDIA with the support of the Secretariat of Science, Technology and Innovation – SENESCYT.
This platform is a fundamental tool for effectively linking academia with industry, and positioning Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) in the national innovation ecosystem.
portal RETEC, each institution must appoint a manager to upload information about the services and other products generated by the institution.
CEDIA will award a special recognition to the institution and manager most committed to the platform's growth. This recognition consists of 300 university slots for online training courses and a tablet for the manager; the decision will be based on the number of relevant offerings uploaded by the institutions to the platform. Managers can upload information until June 11, 2021.
