Portal for the supply and demand of technology and services generated by Ecuadorian higher education institutions.
Collaboration between academia, the productive sector, and the public is essential to strengthening research and technological development in the country. Thus, CEDIA in conjunction with SENESCYT, has worked on the RETEC digital platform (Technological Resources Network). This portal facilitates interaction between those offering technological products and services and those seeking them.
In this way, public and private higher education institutions and institutes can access a wide supply and demand of technology and services generated by the Ecuadorian higher education institutions themselves.
As part of the portal launch process, a contest was held for higher education institutions (HEIs), which consisted of awarding a special recognition to the institution and manager most committed to the growth of the platform. The winner was the National Polytechnic School, through its manager, Engineer Fernando Chamba, with the support of Engineer Byron Acosta, who have worked these past months to upload the EPN's applications to the platform.
