This space reinforces the commitment to the progress of higher education.
A total of 23 rectors participated in the Innovation and CEDIA of Knowledge in Ecuador .
This event, developed under the rector meeting program of CEDIA , focused on the elaboration of a proposal that strengthens the processes of innovation and transfer of knowledge in a sustainable way . In addition, to consolidate academic networks both nationally and internationally. To do this, the rectors established four fundamental strategic lines:
- Strengthening doctoral programs: The proposal seeks a more agile academic qualification model and with less bureaucratic load, ensuring high quality standards without compromising the continuity of the academic offer.
- Articulation of scientific networks: high impact research and the integration of doctoral students in global academic communities will be promoted, enhancing the exchange of knowledge and international collaboration.
- Linking with the productive sector: the formation of academic-productive clusters will be encouraged, in order to effectively transfer knowledge to society and industry, facilitating the practical application of scientific advances.
- Academic and internationalization mobility: The creation of programs that promote the exchange of students, teachers and researchers will be key to strengthening university cooperation, improving training and promoting innovation globally.
The rector meeting represents a key space towards the transformation of the Ecuadorian university system, consolidating collaboration between academic institutions to promote research, innovation and knowledge transfer.
