The recent participation of Transform Health Ecuador in Digital Health Week marked a significant milestone in the promotion of digital transformation in the field of health in the country. This global week, recognized for its ability to bring together diverse perspectives and stories on digital health, provided the Ecuadorian coalition with the perfect platform to highlight its achievements and challenges.
The initiative, which took place from November 6 to 12 of this year, proposed six key themes to address the problem of digital transformation in health, with a valuable contribution from the Ecuadorian coalition, coordinated by CEDIA , with an agenda that included four virtual events focused on three of the proposed topics: alliances for development, gender and inclusion and the future of digital health
Among the topics addressed were fundamental aspects such as interoperability, considered the essential basis of digital transformation in the health sector, as well as the evolution of digital health in the country from various development perspectives. In addition, the relevance of innovative initiatives such as Ali, a chat designed to inform about women's sexual and reproductive rights, with the aim of preventing violence, was highlighted.
One of the high points of discussion was the perspective on the continued development of digitalization in the field of health, a crucial topic that points towards the future of digital health and its projections.
These debates and presentations were given by experts belonging to the member organizations of the Ecuadorian coalition. Ciclo Rosa, Aliada ec., Thani Medical Software, HL7 Ecuador and Saludo CL were some of the prominent entities that presented their analyzes and proposals during the virtual events.
