More than 370 researchers were trained in technology transfer management with AVANTE N° 16

AVANTE N° 16

Training of Managers of Technology Transfer Offices for academic institutions training was carried out , organized by the universities Escuela Superior Politécnica del Litoral – ESPOL, Escuela Politécnica Nacional -EPN and Universidad Católica de Cuenca – UCACUE, with the support of CEDIA .

The training, taught in hybrid mode by Brazilian instructor Marli Elizabeth Ritter dos Santos, allowed participants to learn about and compare the realities of local universities and other Latin American institutions. During the activities, an exchange of experiences was generated that nourished the vision of managers, researchers and teachers in the field of technology transfer. 

The 377 participants, from national and foreign universities, acquired tools to strengthen their daily work in research and management. The program also promoted the dissemination of knowledge within academic communities, raising awareness about the importance of protecting intellectual property and promoting technology transfer as a means to bring innovations developed in the institutions involved to the market.
