General Objective: Estimate the national inventory of greenhouse gas emissions and criterion pollutants in mobile sources.
Specific objectives:
- Characterize the physical-chemical parameters of the quality of fuels used for land transportation in Ecuador.
- Categorize the Ecuadorian vehicle fleet according to its technology, technical specifications, age and fuel performance in real operating conditions.
- Use the IVE computer program to simulate emissions from mobile sources at the national level.
