Collaboration for the development of a vaccine prototype for Covid-19.
The Escuela Superior Politécnica del Litoral - ESPOL and the Ecuadorian Corporation for the Development of Research and the CEDIA Academy have signed a collaboration framework agreement for the development of a prototype health emergency vaccine for COVID-19; The main objective is to unify efforts through the exchange of contributions between CEDIA and ESPOL that help the development of a prototype of an emergency vaccine against COVID-19, in a basic preclinical phase, which may possibly mitigate the pandemic caused by the SARS-CoV virus. -2. The development of the project is in charge of the Laboratory for Biomedical Research (Biomed) of the Faculty of Life Sciences of ESPOL and the support of the CEDIA research area.
In the coming weeks we will continue to report on the progress in the development of this vaccine prototype that will surely benefit the country.
