Officialization of our creation

In the presence of the Vice President of the Republic of Ecuador and the National Secretary of Science and Technology, CEDIA was officially created.

In the presence of the Vice President of the Republic of Ecuador and the National Secretary of Science and Technology, CEDIA was officially created. To certify the formation of the consortium, the following representatives signed: Escuela Superior Politécnica de Chimborazo, Escuela Politécnica Nacional, Escuela Superior Politécnica del Litoral, Universidad de las Fuerzas Armadas, Universidad Católica Santiago de Guayaquil, Universidad Nacional de Loja, Universidad Técnica Particular de Loja, Instituto Público de Investigación de Acuicultura y Pesca (IPIAP), Instituto Oceanográfico y Antártico de la Armada (INOCAR), as well as the legal representatives of SENACYT (National Secretariat of Science and Technology), CONATEL (National Telecommunications Council), and the Constitutional Vice Presidency of the Republic of Ecuador. CEDIA 's bylaws were approved by the Undersecretary of Education of Ecuador and officially registered on January 6, 2003.
